(Planning a Business)
This is the material for the Planning a Business Badge. You don’t need a guide for this badge – the volunteer will get you started and you’ll do most of your work on a whiteboard and on paper. The volunteer will help with the post-activity discussion.
You will work together to create a plan for a new business that will meet a community need. Working as an entrepreneur certainly starts with creativity, but in this badge we’ll explore important supporting skills of planning, critical thinking, collaboration and analysis – also critical for entrepreneurial success. When you’re done, your group will present your plan.
Once you complete the activity, be sure each person in your group takes the test using their own name (online, link below). And remember – you can get any help you need as you take the test.
